Joseph D. Conde, CFSP, is the owner and Managing Funeral Director for Serenity Funeral Chapels. Joseph has been in the industry 17+ years. He started out working as a Chapel attendant for a local funeral home in the R.G.V. After high school graduation, he went on to pursue mortuary school and earned his Associate of Applied Science in Mortuary Science from San Antonio College in May 2008. He began working as licensed professional in San Antonio, TX for ME Rodriguez Funeral Home in where he obtained his experience and knowledge. In 2010, Joseph decided he wanted to relocate back to the RGV and service families in his community. He later pursued his Bachelors Degree in Organizational Leadership from South Texas College, McAllen, TX Masters in Business Administration from National American University in Austin, TX and in August 2021 obtained his Doctor of Business Administration degree at the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, TX. Joseph has always had a passion for helping with community outreach. As a Funeral Director, Joseph is actively involved with engaging with hospice organizations and first responders by volunteering at their annual events.
Myrna M. Conde is the Owner and Office Manager at Serenity Funeral Chapels. Mrs. Conde assists families with pre-arranging their funeral/cremation service and ensures that every detail is memorialized. Mrs. Conde is the wife of Dr. Joseph Conde and together they have 2 sons, Joseph Matthew and Noah James.
Leticia Conde is our Administrative assistant at Serenity Funerals, She comes to us from Edinburg and is a graduate of Edinburg North High School. Leticia is currently pursuing her AAS in Mortuary Science to obtain her funeral director and embalmer license. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her granddaughter and shopping.
Monica is our Family Service Advocate readily available to provide distinguished care to all our families at the time of need. She is also readily available to assist our families with preplanning their funeral arrangements.
