Monte Alto - Yvonne "Bonnie" Marie Tamez, 38, passed away January 17, 2020 at Amara Hospice in Edinburg, after a courageous battle with cancer. God whispered,” Come with me”. God took Bonnie home to prove to us He only takes the best. Bonnie was born December 5, 1981 to Carlos and Diana Tamez in Edinburg. Bonnie worked as an accountant for a truck brokerage company for many years. She was an avid animal lover as shown by her desire, before she passed, to make it known that she is preceded in death by her beloved puppy, Oscar, and two guinea pigs, Dale and Brennan.
