Yolanda Garza

WESLACO- Yolanda Garza, 71 went to be with the Lord Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco.

Yolanda was born September 2, 1952 in Weslaco, TX to Arturo and Maria Del Refugio Garza.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Luis Garza; parents, Arturo and Maria Del Refugio Garza; brother, Arturo Garza, Jr.; sisters, Josefina Garza Champion, Amelia Garza Rodriguez, Juana Garza Ramos and Elva Garza Lozano.

Yolanda is survived by her children, Javier Oscar (Monica) Garza, Yvonne Castillo and Jose Luis Garza, Jr.

Yolanda is also survived by her grandson, Johnny Castillo.; brothers, Jose Luis Garza, Reynaldo Garza, Victor Manuel Garza; sister, Anna Maria Garza Vasquez.

A Celebration of Life will be Thursday, December 21, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Chapel in Edcouch. Funeral Mass will be Friday, December 22, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at St Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Weslaco. Inurnment will follow at Sacred Park Cemetery in Mercedes.
