Victoria Ragusin

December 31, 1936 — May 3, 2021

Victoria "Vickie" Ragusin passed away on Monday, May 3, 2021 at 84 years of age with her loving children by her side at Mission Regional Medical Center in Mission, Texas. She was born December 31, 1936 to Lucio and Enriqueta Chapa in Victoria, Texas. Vickie is survived by her son, Alfred Ragusin, III and wife Janelle; daughter, Crystal Bird and husband Jared; two grandchildren, Alfred Ragusin IV, and Jessica Ragusin. Vickie is preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Lucio Chapa, and sister, Marian Chapa Wilkerson.

Vickie’s family was the most important part of her life and she was an extremely dedicated daughter, sister, mother and grandmother.  Family came first and was above all else to Vickie, a value that she instilled in all those around her.  Our family would not be where it is today if we did not have her as our mother.  We will always be grateful for her never-ending love, support and happy memories that we shared together as a family.  She will be greatly missed.

A private graveside service for immediate family will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 10, 2021 at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission, Texas.  The service will be live-streamed and recorded for family and friends who would like to view the service remotely.

Cardoza Funeral Home of Edcouch is in charge of funeral arrangements.
