Victor Garza, Jr.

Elsa - Victor Garza, Jr., 79, went to be with our Lord on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Aurora House in Weslaco. Victor was born October 8, 1942 to Victoriano and Agustina Garza in Mercedes, TX. He is survived by his son, Victor Garza III; daughters, Belinda Sierra, Norma Gomez, Diana Robles and Adriana Campos; 19 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Isabel (Ezequiel) Salazar and Salvador (Tina) Garza; former wife, Trine Campos Salas. Victor is preceded in death by his parents, Victoriano and Agustina Garza; brothers, Jesus Garza and Jose E. Garza; sister, Elidia Garza Garcia.

Viewing will be Wednesday, March 23, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. at Cardoza Funeral Home Chapel in Edcouch. Viewing will continue Thursday, March 24, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. at Cardoza Funeral Home Chapel in Edcouch. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 25, 2022 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsa. Interment will follow to Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco. Having the distinguished honor of serving as pallbearers are: Richard Salazar, Reynaldo Garcia, Jr., Jacob Cantu, Salvador Garza, Juan Fernandez, Mark Garza, Juan Sierra, Jr., Faith E. Sierra and Briana Portela. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Cardoza Funeral Home of Edcouch.
