ELSA – Veronica Saenz, 31, passed away Thursday, Oct. 1, 2015, at Valley Baptist Medical Center, Harlingen, TX. She was born August 28, 1984 to Santos, Sr. and Juana Saenz. Veronica is survived by her parents, sons, Gerardo and Ivan Chavez, and daughter, Denise Chavez. She is also survived by her brothers: Juan Carlos (Maria) Saenz, Noe (Karina) Saenz, and Santos Saenz, Jr.; and sisters: Dora (Shane) Montalvo and Juanita (Arnulfo) Hernandez. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Porfirio and Valentina Saenz, and Antonio and Paula Lopez. Viewing will be held today, Friday, Oct. 2, 2015 from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7 p.m. and continues Saturday, Oct. 3 at 9 a.m. Burial will follow at 11 a.m. at Highland Memorial Park, Weslaco, TX. Cardoza Funeral Home in Edcouch is in charge of funeral arrangements.
