Therefore you too have grief now; but I will see you again and your heart will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you.  John 16:22

LA BLANCA- Veraluz Reyna, 74, went to be with the Lord, December 22, 2023.
Veraluz was born February 13, 1949 in Donna, Texas to Clemente and Antonia Quintanilla.

Veraluz enjoyed being surrounded by her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also loved cooking, dancing and enjoyed living life to the fullest.

Veraluz is preceded in death by her daughter, Veronica Reyna; parents, Clemente and Antonia Quintanilla.

Veraluz is survived by her loving husband, Juan Reyna; son, Johnny Reyna; daughters, Vanessa Reyna (J. Gutierrez) and Veronica Reyna.

Veraluz is also survived by her grandchildren, Jonathan, Kayla, Silver, Vunzinae, Jayda, Jedidaiah, Vaith, Javier; great grandchildren, Melody, Liza, Coraline, Atlas; siblings, Chello Franklin, Chato Quintanilla and  Letti Herrera.

A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, January 11, 2024 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Chapels in Edcouch.
