EDINBURG – Santiago Duran, 65, passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen. He was born August 31, 1952 to Agapito & Adelaida Duran in Mission, TX.
Santiago is survived by his wife, Ayda Duran; daughters, Josie (Miguel) Garcia, Amy (Jaime) Valderas, and Yolanda (Tony) Lozano. Also surviving him are 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brothers, Victor Duran, Hector Duran, Jose Guadalupe Duran, Liborio Duran, Crisoforo Duran, and Armando Duran; sisters, Prodigios Duran, Amparo Duran, and Yolanda Duran. He is preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Miguel Angel Vazquez.
Viewing will be held Sunday, October 29, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Viewing will continue Monday, October 30, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. with a Chapel Service at 1:00 p.m. at Cardoza Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Anahuac Community Cemetery in Edcouch.
