Refugio Martinez, 80, entered Eternal Life Monday, December 26, 2011.

He is survived by his wife, Regina B. Martinez, his sons: Jose Alonzo, Adan, Exequiel, and Refugio Martinez, Jr., and
his daughters: Hilaria Imelda Contreras, Maria Idelma Flores, Maria Guadalupe Martinez, Maria Teresa Saenz, Rosavelia Pruneda, and Olga Alicia Morales. He is also survived by 15 brothers and sisters.
Also surviving him are 35 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Adelita Ramirez.

Services

Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 27, from 3:00 pm until 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday, December 28 from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be on Thursday, December 29, at 2:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsa.

Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
