Oscar Barron

MERCEDES- Oscar Barron, 55 went to be with the Lord Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Harlingen Medical Center. Oscar was born December 4, 1967 to Welester and Maria Barron in Mexico.

Oscar is preceded in death by his father, Welester Barron.

Oscar is survived by his loving wife, Hermelinda Barron; his children, Oscar (Irene) Barron, Jr., Erick (Jessica) Barron, Edgar (Megan) Barron, Jessica Barron, Orasio (Jacqueline) Barron, Orlando Barron, Welester (Darlene) Barron; 12 grandchildren; mother, Maria Dolores Barron; siblings, Leticia Barron, Gloria Balderas, Welester Barron, Olga Alvarez, Mirtha Mares, Dora Barron, Cesar Barron, Nelda Barron, Patricia Barron, San Juanita Barron, Mayra Barron, Victor Barron and Brenda Sandoval.

Viewing will be Monday, September 18, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Chapel in Edcouch. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in La Villa. Interment will follow at Anahuac Community Cemetery in Edcouch.
