Elsa – Olivia Navarro, 71, passed away Sunday, February 16, 2020 at McAllen Medical Center in McAllen. She was born July 19, 1948 to Felix Rodriguez and Josefina Alamia in Niles, MI. Olivia is survived by her husband, Cecilio Navarro; sons, Joe Navarro (Maria) and Cecilio Navarro, Jr.; daughters, Brenda Lee Olivarez (Benito), Irma Linda Garza (Orlando), and Olivia Maria Castillo (Marcos); 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brothers, Felix Rodriguez, Jr. (Ofelia), Porfirio Rodriguez, Eusebio Rodriguez (Diana), David Rodriguez (Melba), and Jesus Rodriguez; sisters, Josephine Salas, Rosa Rodriguez, Maria Luisa Gutierrez (Vicente), Crestina Rodriguez, Paula De La Cruz (Guillermo), Delilah Rodriguez, Estella Valdez, Belinda Balderas, and Ester Rodriguez; numerous nephews and nieces. She is preceded in death by her parents, Felix Rodriguez and Josefina Alamia.
Viewing will be held Wednesday, February 19, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m.
Viewing will continue Thursday, February 20, 2020 at 8:00 a.m. with a Chapel Service at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at 10:15 a.m. at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
