Miguel Leon

Donna- Miguel (Mike) De Leon, 52, Donna, went to be with our Lord on July 14, 2013. He was being treated for Renal Cell Carcinoma (Kidney Cancer) at the University of Nebraska Medical Center where he passed away peacefully. He was preceded in death by his parents Ismael and Socorro De Leon, ex wife Denise De Leon, an infant brother, David De Leon, an aunt Rita De Leon Guerra, and a nephew Ahmad Subuh. He is survived by his children, 3 sons, Mike (Nicole) De Leon, Mark Daniel De Leon, Sotero Ismael De Leon and 1 daughter, Kassandra (Jose) De Leon Miranda, 4 grandchildren, Jason M. De Leon, Annabelle L. De Leon, Aracely S. Miranda and Ariana Miranda. He is also survived by 2 brothers, Ismael De Leon, Jr. and Jose A. De Leon, 2 sisters, Martha Subuh and Carmen (Henry) Rodriguez. Mike was a loving and very giving man, who loved his children more than anything, especially his grandchildren who were very close to him. He will be greatly missed by his family.

Miguel was cremated in Nebraska and the family will have a Memorial Service Thursday, Aug. 1, 2013 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. Rosary. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 2, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Donna, TX. Following Mass, his cremated remains will be buried at ValVerde Memorial Garden in Donna, TX.
