Leonel Rodriguez

ELSA- Leonel Rodriguez, 71 went to be with the Lord Monday, May 22, 2023 at Edinburg Regional Medical Center. Leonel was born August 12, 1951 to Estanislado and Guadalupe Rodriguez in Elsa, Texas.

Leonel is preceded in death by his daughter, Dee Rodriguez; parents, Estanislado and Guadalupe Rodriguez; brothers, Jose Q. Rodriguez, Guadalupe Q. Rodriguez and Rogelio Q. Rodriguez.

Leonel is survived by his loving wife, Olga Rodriguez; son, Jose Alfredo Rodriguez; stepson, Albert Salinas (Ercilia). He is also survived by his brother, Romero Q. Rodriguez; sister, Dolores R. Perez and four grandchildren. Leonel was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother who will be dearly missed by all his family and friends.

Viewing for Leonel will be Friday, May 26, 2023 from 12:00 to 9:00 p.m. with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:30 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Chapel in Edcouch. Funeral Mass will be Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 11:30 a.m. at St Joseph the Worker Church in San Carlos. Interment will follow to Anahuac Community Cemetery in Edcouch.
