Edcouch – Julian Vaiz, Jr., 70, entered Eternal Life December 10, 2020 at his residence in Edcouch. He was born to Julian, Sr. and Andrea Vaiz in Edcouch. Julian worked many years as a Sugar Boiler for the local Sugar Mill in Santa Rosa. He is survived by his mother, Andrea Vaiz; son, Julian Vaiz, III; and daughters, Rachel Vaiz and Erika Vaiz. He is also survived by his grandsons, Matthew Martinez, Danny Galvan, Aaron Ramirez, and Jonathan Vaiz; granddaughters, Audrey Galvan, Alyssa Galvan, and Jazmine Vaiz; and two great-grandchildren. Julian is survived by sisters, Angie Gonzalez, Rosa Reyna (Eugene), Linda Gomez (Ricardo), Gracie Cruz (Ricardo), Belen Torres (Albert), Paula Vaiz, Ida Newman (Brett), and Norma Garza (Jaime); and brothers, Ricardo Vaiz (Frances), Rogelio Vaiz (Enedelia), and Juan Vaiz (Diana).
He is preceded in death by his father, Julian Vaiz, Sr.; brother, Gilberto Vaiz; sisters, Belen Vaiz and Margarita Vaiz; and his grandmother, Concepcion Vaiz.
Viewing will be Sunday, December 13, 2020 from 12 noon to 8:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Reverend Jesse Garza from Bethania del CLADIC in Edcouch. Viewing will continue Monday, December 14, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Graveside Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
