Julia Rodriguez

Edcouch-Julia Rodriguez, 95, entered into eternal rest Monday, September 19, 2022 at her Edcouch residence. Julia was born July 9, 1927 in Mission, Texas to  Julian and Victoria Elizondo. She is preceded in death by her husband, Maximo Rodriugez; son, Leonel Rodriugez; brothers, Santiago Elizondo, Seferino Gonzalez; sister, Andrea Quintanilla; grandson, Carlitos Montelongo, Jr.; son-in-law, Roberto Montelongo. Julia is survived by her sons, Benito (Elena) Rodriguez, Moises (Maribel) Rodriguez; daughters, Juanita Montelongo, Linda Rodriguez; brothers, Fortunato Elizondo; sister, Margarita Elizondo. Julia is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Family will receive friends, Thursday, September 22. 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Chapels in Edcouch. Funeral Mass will be Friday, September 23, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsa. Interment will follow to Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
