Juanita A. Salazar

EDCOUCH- Juanita A. Salazar, 80, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at Mission Regional Medical Center in Mission. Juanita was born March 27, 1943 to Manuel and Paula Alejandro in Weslaco, Texas.

Juanita is preceded in death by her husband, Juvenal Salazar; her grandson, Justin Lee Arreola; parents, Manuel and Paula Alejandro; sister, Guadalupe Quintero; brother, Silvero Alejandro and niece, Isabel Reyes.

Juanita is survived by her daughters, Linda (Reyes, Jr.) Ramos, Roxanne (Elias) Garcia. Juanita is also survived by her grandchildren, Austin, Christian, Cody, Wilma; brother, Jose J. Alejandro and numerous nieces and nephews.

Viewing will be held Sunday, July 16, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Chapel in Edcouch. Funeral Mass will be Monday, July 17, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at St Theresa of the Infant Jesus Catholic Church in Edcouch. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco. Having the distinguished honor serving as pallbearers are: Arnulfo Quintero, Austin Garcia, Christian Garcia, Elias Garcia, Reyes Ramos, Jr. and Eddie Garcia.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Serenity Funeral Chapels of Edcouch.
