Juan Delgadillo Ybarra, 55, passed away Friday, January 22, 2016 at Edinburg Regional Hospital. He was born September 8, 1960 to Julian and Herlinda Ybarra in Fresno, CA. Juan “Johnny” is survived by his wife, Soila Rodriguez-Ybarra; son, John Kenneth Ybarra; daughters, Ashly Ann (Lisa) Ybarra-Treviño and Valerie Ann (Rogelio) Ybarra; grandsons, John Dominique and Evan Rogelio; and granddaughter, Emily Theresa. Johnny is also survived by his sisters, Linda (Ramon) Rios, Evangelina (Omar Cura) Garcia, Corina (Tony) Romero, Cruz “Masie” Tamez, Carol (Joe Flores) Tamez, Elvia (Luis) Rivera; brother John (Elizabeth) Tamez; sisters-in-law Diana Ybarra and Edna Tamez; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Julian Ybarra, Charles Ybarra, and Juan Jaime Tamez. Johnny was a proud veteran of the 141st Infantry of the United States Army. Johnny was a charismatic man who was always full of life. Never was a story told that he wasn’t quick to point out that he had “been there” or “done that”. Johnny lived his life the way he wanted and enjoyed every second of it. Life lessons, though unconventional, were more prominent now as he tried to model a better path for his children and grandchildren. Johnny leaves behind a lifetime of memories that will be treasured by all. Viewing will be held Monday, January 25, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Chapel Service will be held Tuesday, January 26, at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at 10:00 a.m. at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
