Elsa – Juan S. Rodriguez, 70, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2020 at Solara Hospital in Harlingen. He was born November 11, 1949 to Guillermo and Guadalupe Rodriguez in Rio Bravo, Tamps. Juan is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Oralia Rodriguez; children, Jose Humberto Rodriguez (McAllen), Alejandra Valladares (Azael) Evans (Colorado), Araceli (Steve) McArthur, (McAllen), Javier Rodriguez (McAllen), Juan Carlos (Rosario) Rodriguez (Elsa), and Julio Cesar (Tina) Rodriguez (Elsa); nine grandchildren, Jose Humberto, Rodriguez, Jr., Alfredo Valladares, Angel Valladares, Armando Valladares, Adrianna Valladares, Kailei Pemberton, Juan Carlos Rodriguez, Jr., Jeremiah Joseph Rodriguez, and James Matthew Rodriguez. He is also survived by his siblings, Rafael Rodriguez, Santiago Rodriguez, Guillermo Rodriguez, Ignacio Rodriguez, Francisco Rodriguez and Benita Fernandez, He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Florinda Carreon, Maria Juarez, Maria de la Luz Estebane, Rodrigo Rodriguez, and Israel Rodriguez.
Viewing will be held Thursday, April 2, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Viewing will continue Friday, April 3, 2020 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. followed by Interment at 11:00 a.m. at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco, with Deacon Jerry Rosa from Sacred Heart Catholic Church officiating at the graveside..
For everyone's safety during the COVID-19 pandemic, and in accordance with CDC precautions, we ask for minimal attendance to the services.
