Edcouch- Juan Alvarado, 66, died Thursday, June 30, 2016 at Dr. Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. Juan worked as Security Guard for EEISD and was a constant watch patrolling the school campuses during the nighttime hours. He is survived by his daughters, Yvette, Thelma and Terry Alvarado and sons, Orlando and Rolando Alvarado. Also surviving him are nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers, David and Jesus Alvarado, sister Diana Alvarado, and sister-in-law Nina Alvarado. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dionicio and Aurora Alvarado, and brother, Damaso Alvarado.
Viewing will be held Monday, July 4, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Viewing will continue Tuesday, July 5, 2016 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. at St. Theresita Catholic Church in Edcouch. Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Anahuac Community Cemetery in Edcouch.
