Jose Martinez

ELSA- Jose Martinez, 76 went to be with the Lord Sunday, October 23, 2022 at McAllen Medical Center in McAllen. Jose was born March 24, 1946 to Lucio and Didovina Martinez in La Joya, Texas. Jose is preceded in death by his son, Joe Martinez, Jr.; parents, Lucio and Didovina Martinez; brothers, Simon Martinez and Lencho Salinas. Jose is survived by his loving wife, Elisa Martinez; children, Robert Saucillo, Steven (Melissa) Martinez and Sylvia Martinez. He is also survived by his siblings, Juan Manuel Martinez, Martha Ruiz, Juana Espinoza, Carolina Barron; five grandchildren, JJ Martinez, Jeremy Martinez, Jacob Martinez, Zachary Martinez and Benjamin Martinez.  

Family will receive friends Monday, October 31, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Chapels in Edcouch. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Serenity Funeral Chapels in Edcouch. Burial will follow at Anahuac Community Cemetery in Edcouch.
