Mercedes- Jose Luis Garcia, 61 went to be with the Lord Sunday, February 19, 2023 at Aurora House in Weslaco. Jose was born June 19, 1961 in Matamoros Tamps. Mexico to Roberto Garcia Almanza and Paula Marines Fuentes.

Jose is survived by his loving wife, Maria F. Garcia; son, Roberto Garcia; daughters, Maribel Garcia, Cecilia Guadalupe Garcia and Betty Amairani Garcia. Jose is also survived by his granddaughter, Angela Dominga; sisters, San Juana Loa, Julia Castaneda, Ramona Hernandez and Guadalupe Cisneros.
