LA VILLA- Jesus Moreno, 82, went to be with the Lord Saturday, March 11, 2023 at his La Villa residence. Jesus was born May 25, 1940 to Jesus and Maria Moreno in Nuevo Leon, Mexico. Jesus is preceded in death by his wife, Ramona Moreno; parents, Jesus and Maria Moreno; sister, Consuelo Villalpando; brother, Jose Angel Moreno; sister, Lupe Moreno; daughter-in-law, Belia Moreno.
Jesus is survived by his son, Jose Moreno; daughters, Gracie (Raul) Gonzalez, Yolanda (Santiago) Guerra, Maria de Jesus (Gerardo) Rodriguez, Irene (Adam) Sanchez, Melissa (Luis) Guerra and Maria (Ismael) Gonzalez. Jesus is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Family will receive friends Tuesday, March 14, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Chapel in Edcouch. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in La Villa. Interment will follow at Anahuac Community Cemetery in Edcouch.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Serenity Funeral Chapels of Edcouch.
