WESLACO- Javier Cisneros, 65, went to be with the Lord on September 21, 2024, in Weslaco. Javier was born April 22, 1959, in La Villa, Texas to Jose Guadalupe Cisneros and Maria Consuelo Velasquez Cisneros. Graduating from Edcouch Elsa High School in 1978, Javier was a simple man who took pleasure in the small things in life. He had a passion for football, always rooting wholeheartedly for the Dallas Cowboys. In his downtime, he enjoyed watching classic western movies, relishing every moment.
In his early years, Javier worked up north and could often be found behind the wheel of a tractor, embracing the simplicity of rural life. As time went on, he found his calling as an Alarm Technician in the security industry, dedicating his days to keeping others safe.
Javier will be fondly remembered as a family man who cherished spending time with his loved ones. Whether it was sharing stories over a meal or enjoying moments of laughter, Javier's presence brought joy to those around him.
Javier was preceded in death by his parents, Jose Guadalupe Cisneros and Consuelo Velasquez Cisneros; brothers, Jaime Cisneros, Noel Cisneros, Rumaldo Cisneros, Santos Garcia, Santiago Garcia and Juan Garcia; sisters, Dora Cisneros and Irene Cisneros; uncle, Jose Garcia; aunt, Ignacia V. Garcia.
Javier is survived by his daughters Jessica Cisneros (Hector Mariscal) and Aspen Renee Zamarripa; his three cherished grandchildren, Aaron, Adrian, and Abram Mariscal; his brothers Noe Cisneros, Jose Guadalupe Cisneros Jr., Jesus Cisneros, Ramon Garcia, Lupe Garcia, George Garcia and sisters Enedelia Cisneros, Cynthia Cisneros and Amelia Aguilar.
He may be gone, but the light of his spirit will continue to shine bright in the hearts of all who knew him.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Serenity Funeral Chapel of Edcouch.
