EDCOUCH – Horacio G. Ramos, 84, passed away Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco. He was born April 11, 1934 to Clemente & Francisca Ramos in Santa Maria, Mexico.
Horacio is survived by his son, Rene Ramos; daughters, Shaza - Silvia Ramos, Velia Ramos, Sulema Padilla, and Rebecca Ramos; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Oliverio Ramos; sisters, Graciela Cuellar and Guadalupe Gerrick; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Eulalia, Hortensia, and Genoveva Ramos, and brother, Oscar Ramos.
Viewing will be held Tuesday, September 26, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Viewing will continue Wednesday, September 27, 2017 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. with a Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Edcouch. Interment will follow at Anahuac Community Cemetery in Edcouch.
