Guadalupe Serna

La Villa- Guadalupe A. Serna, 69 went to be with the Lord, Saturday, November 19, 2022 at his La Villa residence. Guadalupe was born May 29, 1953 to Felipe and Juana Serna in Edcouch, Texas. Guadalupe is preceded in death by his parents, Felipe and Juana Serna. brothers, Rodolfo Serna, Felipe Serna, Raul Serna, Jorge Serna. He is survived by his wife, Laura Elena Sigala; daughter, Esmeralda Estrella Serna; 3 grandchildren, Mia Leah Elizabeth Fast Horse, Janae Dominga Serna-Stands, Antonio Marshall Stands;  4 great-grandchildren, Arabella Star Reynolds, Novalee Estrella Reynolds, Mathias Anthony Ehret and Miko Wambli Ehret. Guadalupe is also survived by his siblings, Irma (Joe) Benavidez, Sylvia (Pedro) Martinez, Nelda (Pedro) Trevino, Rosa (Jesus) Almaguer, Ricardo (Elvira) Serna, Roberto (Guillermina) Serna, Juanita (DeeJay) Pedraza, Artemio Serna, Irene (Samuel) Pedraza, Sandra Serna.

Family will receive friends Tuesday, November 29, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Chapel in Edcouch. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe in La Villa. As per his wishes he will be cremated at a later date.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Serenity Funeral Chapels of Edcouch.
