Guadalupe Sauceda

EDCOUCH- Guadalupe Sauceda, peacefully departed from this world on September 28, 2024, at the age of 79 in Edcouch. Guadalupe was born on June 25, 1945, in La Llorona, Tamaulipas, MX to Arnolfo and Luisa Sauceda and left behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories.

 He is survived by his beloved spouse of 56 years, Virginia Sauceda, and his daughters Maria Guadalupe Rodriguez (Enrique), María Luisa Cabrera (Francisco), Olga Romero (Guadalupe), and Laura Sauceda. Guadalupe also held a special place in his heart for his 12 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; siblings, Juan Sauceda, Rafaela Reyes and Lucia Ramirez.

 Guadalupe worked for the Edcouch Elsa ISD in the transportation department as a bus driver. He found joy in his children and grandchildren and took delight in listening to the music of Carlos y Jose. He cherished family gatherings, especially cookouts, and outings where they watched fireworks or admired Christmas lights during the festive season. His love for his family was evident in the daily check-ins he made to ensure their well-being, and in the simple pleasures of dining out together.

 His life and memories will be honored and commemorated Thursday, October 3, 2024 and Friday, October 4, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service both evenings at Serenity Funeral Chapel in Edcouch. Funeral Service will be Saturday, October 5, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Serenity Funeral Chapel in Edcouch. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco. May he rest in peace knowing he was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by all those whose lives he touched.

 Funeral services are under the direction of Dr. Joseph Conde and staff at Serenity Funeral Chapels at 1401 E Santa Rosa Ave, Edcouch, Texas 78538.
