ELSA- Gerardo Leal Vera, 84, passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at his Elsa residence. Gerardo was born September 15, 1939 to Lorenzo and Genoveva V. Leal in Nuevo Leon, Mexico.
Gerardo is preceded in death by his parents, Lorenzo and Genoveva Leal. He is survived by his wife, Maria T. Leal; sons, Gerardo Leal, Jr., Luis L. Leal, Lorenzo Leal, Jesus Leal and Miguel A. Leal; daughters, Maria Theresa Leal, Rocio Leal; 15 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Viewing will be Monday, September 25, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Chapels in Edcouch.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Serenity Funeral Chapels in Edcouch. Interment will follow to Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction and care of Serenity Funeral Chapels in Edcouch.
ELSA- Gerardo Leal Vera, de 84 años, entro a su eterno descanso el miercoles, 20 de septiembre del 2023, en su residencia de Elsa. Gerardo nació el 15 de septiembre de 1939, hijo de Lorenzo y Genoveva V. Leal de Nuevo Leon, Mexico. Le sobrevive su esposa, Maria T Leal; hijos, Gerardo Leal Jr, Luis L Leal, Lorenzo Leal, Jesus Leal, Miguel A. Leal; hijas, Maria Theresa Leal y Rocio Leal; Tambien le sobreviven 15, nietos y un hermano, Carlos Leal.
La velación será el lunes 25, de septiembre del 2023, de 3:00 p.m. a 9:00 p.m. Se rezara el rosario a las 7:00 p.m. en Serenity Funeral Chapel en Edcouch. El servicio funeral se llevara a cabo el martes, 26 de septiembre en Serenity Funeral Chapel, en Edcouch. El entierro será en el cemeterio Hillcrest Memorial Park en Edinburg.
La Funeraria de Serenity en Edcouch está a cargo de los arreglos.
