Frank “Pancho” Reynoso, 56, died yesterday, Mar 4, 2015, at McAllen Medical Center after battling various health issues for many years.
Frank was born on June 14, 1958 in Weslaco, Texas, the 5th of 7 children brought to life by Josefina Sepulveda de Reynoso (deceased) and Pablo Reynoso (deceased.) Frank is remembered as a compassionate and selfless man who dedicated his life to helping and caring for others. He was a Desert Storm veteran, serving the armed forces for 11 years and reaching the level of Sergeant as a Combat Medic and also earning distinction as a Sharpshooter. After an honorable discharge, he worked as a Licensed Vocational Nurse, specializing in adult day care.
Frank is survived by his wife for 31 years, Madelyn, his sons, Danny (Patricia) and Levi Soliz, and 6 grandkids: Brandon, Anton, Hailey, Kailey, Leilani, and Kendra. He is also survived by 5 brothers and sisters: Mary (Rolando) Pena, Paulo, Martha (Mervin) Whipple, Enrique (Monica), and Elizabeth. His sister Socorro (Andy) Vergil preceded him in death. Frank also leaves behind numerous nephews and nieces who also remember him as a kind and loving man.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, Mar 5, 2015 from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a Holy Rosary at 7 p.m. at Cardoza Funeral Home in Edcouch. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, Mar 6, at 1 p.m. at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Weslaco, Texas. Interment will follow at 3 p.m. at the Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission, Texas.
