Federico “Freddy” Gonzalez

EDCOUCH- Federico ‘Freddy’ Gonzalez, 83 went to be with the Lord Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at his Edcouch residence. Federico was born March 2, 1940 to Antonio Gonzalez Amaro and Cipriana Hernandez in Cerritos San Luis Potosi, Mexico. Federico is preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Cipriana Gonzalez; brothers, Amador Mendez, Damazo Gonzalez, Marcelino Gonzalez and Roberto Gonzalez.

Federico is survived by his loving wife, Yolanda Gonzalez; son, Federico Gonzalez (Sara Soto); daughters, Dahlya Watson (Mark) and Dina Alene. Federico is also survived by his four grandchildren, Katrina Salinas, Ashley Watson, Mark Watson, Tommy Watson and brother, Antonio Gonzalez.

Family will receive friends, Thursday, March 9, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Celebration of Life at 6:30 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Chapel in Edcouch. As per his wishes, he will be cremated at a later date.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Serenity Funeral Chapels of Edcouch.
