La Villa- Everardo Bernal, 77 went to be with the Lord Saturday, December 24, 2022 at his La Villa residence. Everardo was born October 13, 1945 to Catarino and Feliciana Bernal in General Teran, NL. Mexico. He is preceded in death by his son, Jose Alberto Bernal; brothers, Filiberto Bernal, Idelfonso Bernal; sisters, Panchita Bernal, Herculana Bernal de Rodriguez and Juanita Garate. Mr Bernal is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Maria Del Socorro Bernal; daughters, Carmen Orozco, Fely Sanchez, Maria De Los Angeles Bernal; sons, Eduardo Bernal and Rolando Bernal. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; sisters, Margarita Bernal, Josefina Carmona; brother, Miguel Bernal.
Family will receive friends Monday, January 2, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Chapel in Edcouch. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in La Villa. Interment will follow to Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
Funeral arrangements are pending and under the direction of Serenity Funeral Chapels of Edcouch.
