Ernestina Guzman

Mercedes-Ernestina Guzman, 78, went to be with the Lord, November 21, 2023 at her Mercedes residence. Ernestina was born August 8, 1945 to Celso and Maria De La Luz Guzman in Raymondville, TX. She is preceded in death by her parents, Celso and Maria De La Luz Guzman; sisters, Beatrice Flores, Olga Rivera. Ernestina is survived by her children, Javier Guzman Flores, Gabriel A. Flores, Gloria Flores Del Toro, Thelma J. Flores and Norma A. Flores; brothers Gabriel Guzman, Fidel Guzman; sisters San Juana Liberto, her twin sister, Christina Guzman, Diana Guzman Delia Guzman; 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 1 great grandchild on the way.

Viewing for Ernestina will be held Wednesday, November 22, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Chapels of Edcouch viewing will continue Friday, November 24, 2023 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 24, 2023 at Serenity Funeral Chapels in Edcouch. Burial will follow at Anahuac Community Cemetery in Edcouch.
