Edward Rodriguez

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Edward Rodriguez of La Villa, TX. Born on December 16, 1956, Edward was a devoted husband of 47 years to Lucia Rodriguez and a loving father to his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Throughout his life, Edward worked passionately as a diesel mechanic in the heavy equipment machinery industry, showcasing his skills and passion for fixing heavy equuipment. His dedication to his craft was unwavering, serving as a testament to his strong work ethic.

Edward is preceded in death by his parents, Roberto Rodriguez, Sr. and Aurora Rodriguez; brothers, Ruben Rodriguez, Lee Roy Rodriguez, Ezequiel Rodriguez; sister, Adelita Rodriguez.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 47 years, Lucia Rodriguez, sons; Samuel Plunkett, Fred (Rachel) Rodriguez, Robert (Vivi) Rodriguez, daughters; Stephanie Rodriguez, Betty (Rene) Rodriguez; 15 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.

Family and Friends will gather Monday, November 25, 2024 and Tuesday, November 26, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. both evenings at Serenity Funeral Chapels in Edcouch. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at St.Theresa of the Infant Jesus Catholic Church in Edcouch. Interment will follow at Anahuac Community Cemetery in Edcouch.

In this time of sadness, let us come together to support one another and to remember the legacy that Edward leaves behind. May his soul rest in peace, knowing the love and respect he shared will be eternal.
