Diana Tamez

MONTE ALTO- Diana Tamez, 72, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, May 25, 2024 at her Monte Alto residence. 
Diana was born June 16, 1951 in Mission, Texas to Miguel and Alicia Muñoz.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Yvonne "Bonnie" Tamez; parents, Miguel and Alicia Muñoz; sister, Mary Jane Muñoz.

Diana is survived by her loving husband, Carlos Tamez; children, Carlos Tamez, Jr.(Esther Salinas), Omar Tamez (Melissa), Johnny Tamez (Belen) and Vanessa Hernandez (Chris). Diana is also survived by 8 grandchildren; brother, Rodolfo "Rudy" Muñoz; sister, Dora Muñoz Zapata.

Viewing for Diana Tamez will be Monday, May 27, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Chapel in Edcouch. Funeral service will be Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. at Serenity Funeral Chapel in Edcouch. Interment will follow at La Sara Cemetery. Having the distinguished honor serving as pallbearers are: Richard Alvarez, Mikey Tamez, Gilbert Tamez, Manuel Tamez, Zachary Hernandez and Juan Manuel Tamez, Jr.
