Delia G. Hernandez

EDCOUCH- Delia G. Hernandez, 81 went to be with the Lord Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco. Delia was born on August 30, 1941 to Jose Galindo Garcia and Basilia T. Garcia in Santa Maria, TX.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Pedro Hernandez; parents, Jose Galindo Garcia and Basilia Garcia; brothers, Jesus Garcia and Antonio Garcia.

She is survived by her children, Pedro Hernandez, Jr., San Juanita Coronado, Olga Lydia Hernandez; 6 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Elida Garcia, Maria Hinojosa, Melida Hinojosa and Maria Gonzalez.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, March 23, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Chapel in Edcouch. Funeral mass will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 24, 2023 at St. Theresa of the Infant Jesus Catholic Church in Edcouch. Interment will follow to Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
