Weslaco - Claudio Gomez M., 80, passed away Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco, TX. He was born June 23, 1941 to Gregorio and Lorenza Moreno Gomez in Mexico. Claudio worked as a laborer in the agriculture industry. He is survived by his sons, Eliazar Gomez, Eliel Gomez, Eli Gomez, Samuel Gomez, Saul Gomez, Misael Gomez and Asarias Gomez; 25 grandchildren; brothers, Marcial Gomez and Paco Gomez. Claudio is preceded in death by his parents, Gregorio and Lorenza Moreno Gomez.

Viewing will be Sunday, August 29, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Cremation will be held at a later date.
