MONTE ALTO-Now in the glorious and comforting embrace of Her Lord and Savior, we bid farewell to Beatrice Galvan Andrade, a pillar of unconditional love, of seemingly endless kindness, and of hope and happiness. Beatrice Andrade was born to Felix Galvan and Marcela Galvan in Victoria, Texas, on January 31st, 1952. She graduated from Bloomington High School in the year 1970. Relocated to Monte Alto, Texas in June 1988. She made a positive impact on the lives of the students at Monte Alto ISD. She is survived by her husband, Saul Andrade, and her sons; Saul (Lillian), Rene (Donna), and Oscar (Emilie) Andrade and her grandchildren; Eli Andrade, Haley Andrade, Joshua Andrade, Lianna Andrade, and Patrick Andrade. She cherished her family and loved spending time with her grandkids, especially while enjoying a cup of coffee. Where she had a mug for everyone. Family gatherings were important to her, and she always made sure they were filled with love and harmony.
The life of Beatrice Andrade is an era to be grateful for, to remember, and to celebrate. She was a selfless woman, who never hesitated to help those in need. She possessed strength, intelligence, and resilience comparable to no other. Every moment spent with her was filled with joy and positivity. She has created unforgettable relationships. She brought light into the lives of those she knew. She was a strong-willed woman, and she never showed any fear, of anything. She was a woman of many talents, who was known for her delicious cooking, and excellent sewing skills. Above all, a nurturer of her family, and even those she did not know. To know Beatrice Andrade was to be cared for and loved by her. She was as reliable as the Sun and loved being a mother, grandmother, wife, sister, aunt, and friend.
Beatrice Andrade will serve as an inspiration to her loved ones, and those that were blessed enough to know her. She was a fantastic role model. She carried herself with grace and confidence. She never failed to put a smile on anyone’s face, possessing a sense of humor that brought laughter to all. All her wonderful qualities make her irreplaceable and leave an emptiness in our hearts. She was a beautiful person inside and out who will continue to be remembered by her family and loved ones.
Even at a young age she was nurturing and loving, caring for her younger siblings, and teaching them kindness. She had ten siblings and is survived by siblings: Anita Estrada, Richard Galvan, Gilbert Galvan, and Dolores Galvan and is joined in death by Robert Galvan, Oscar Galvan, Rodolfito Galvan, Hector Galvan, and Janie Madrigal.
Viewing for Beatrice will be Monday, November 27, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Chapel in Edcouch. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. The church is still pending. Interment will follow at La Blanca Cemetery.
