Aziel Cruz Copete

MERCEDES- Aziel Cruz Copete entered eternal rest on Sunday, February 16, 2025 in Corpus Christi, TX at the age of 27. Aziel was born on September 2, 1997 to Eduardo Cruz and Adriana Copete in Veracruz, Mexico.

Aziel was a dedicated construction worker whose strong hands built not just structures, but a loving home filled with laughter and warmth. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree, a testament to his commitment to bettering himself and providing for his family. Aziel poured his heart into everything he did, and his passion for life was reflected in his love for the gym and his unwavering dedication to family time. He cherished each moment spent with his wife and children.

He was a doting father who found immense joy in nurturing his children and instilling in them the values of hard work, kindness, and resilience. Aziel's infectious laughter and warm smile will be deeply missed, but the love he shared will forever reside in the hearts of those he touched.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Yulisses Montoya, his children Aziel Cruz Montoya, Heaven Cruz Montoya and Richard Cruz Montoya, his parents Eduardo Cruz and Adriana Copete, brothers, Eduardo Cruz and Francisco Cruz. Aziel is also survived by 33 nieces and nephews.

Family and Friends will gather on Sunday, February 23, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Chapel in Edcouch. Funeral Service will be Monday, February 24, 2025 at 10:00 at Serenity Funeral Chapel in Edcouch. Interment will follow at Sacred Park Cemetery in Mercedes. 

As we bid farewell to Aziel, let us carry forward the lessons he imparted and the love he shared. May his legacy of compassion and dedication continue to inspire us all. Rest in peace, dear Aziel. Your light will never be forgotten.
