Amelia Patricia “Patsi” Villarreal, beloved mother, sister and friend was granted her angel wings Tuesday, June 12, 2012. Daughter of the late Felipe and Amelia Villarreal, she is survived by her daughter and love of her life, Renee Webber Fale, son-in-law, Faatau Fale, granddaughter, Samalaulu Fale; sisters: Belinda Villarreal, Eloisa Breathour, Carol Taylor, Irma Gaffke, Lucy Kaminski, Celia Santana; brothers: Gregorio (Maria Luisa), Felipe (Hortencia), Ricardo (Elvira) Villarreal and numerous nephews and nieces. Patsi is preceded in death by brothers, Fidencio, Abel, Benigno, Porfirio, and Cristobal (Francisca) Villarreal.

Born October 4, 1951, Patsi was a longtime resident of Edcouch and graduate of Edcouch-Elsa High School. For almost 20 years Patsi worked in Human Resources at Haggar Clothing Company in Weslaco. Upon closing of the company, she decided to make her part-time passion into a full time business. Known to many as “La Notaria”, Patsi opened her home for over 40 years to residents of the Delta Area and provided them with an affordable solution to their Income Tax and Notary needs. An avid baker, “Patsi’s Kitchen” was always open to whomever stopped by and holidays were always a time to look forward to. Anyone who met Patsi soon became a friend due to her thoughtfulness, kindness, loving and caring nature. An inspiration to many, Patsi will be greatly missed by the vast number of lives she touched.
