Amanda Perez

LA VILLA- Amanda Marie Perez 22, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, February 14, 2023 in Columbus, Ohio. Amanda was born January 30, 2001 to Alonzo Perez and Mary Garza in Weslaco, Texas. Amanda grew up in La Villa and graduated from La Villa HS in 2019. She is preceded in death by her parents, Alonzo Perez and Mary Garza; her grandparents, Ruben Perez, Sr., Jose M. and Sofia Garza; nephew, Marcial Anthony Cano.

Amanda is survived by her siblings, Alonzo (Angelica) Perez, Jr., Joshua Perez, Alberto Perez, Andres Perez, Alfonso Perez, Andrea Marie (Matthew) Perez, Annette Marie (Marc) Perez, Alondra Perez, Daniel Guajardo Perez. She is also survived by her grandmother, Alicia Castillo Perez and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends Wednesday, February 22, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Chapels in Edcouch. As per her wishes she will be cremated at a later date.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Serenity Funeral Chapels of Edcouch.
