Alfredo Solis

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Alfredo Solis of La Villa, Texas, on November 17, 2024 at the age of 87. 

Born on June 13, 1937, Alfredo was a man of steadfast faith and a devoted Jehovah’s Witness. He guided his life by serving God and sharing His message with others. 

Alfredo is survived by his wife Guadalupe Carr Solis and their six children: Jerardo Solis, Alicia (Rolando+) Garcia, Silverio Solis, Oliverio (Isabel) Solis, Irma (Richard) Barreiro, and Enrique (Elizabeth) Solis. He was a cherished grandfather to 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. 

Alfredo was preceded in death by his parents Jesus and Irenea Solis, his brothers Ruben, Arturo, and Rogelio; his sisters Sara Gonzales and Juana Solis. Surviving siblings include Baldomero Solis, David Solis, Aaron Solis and Moises Solis.

Alfredo’s unwavering faith, love for his family, and kind spirit touched the lives of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

Family will receive friends Thursday, November 21, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Talk at 6:30 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Chapel in Edcouch. Viewing will resume Friday, November 22, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. As per Alfredo’s wishes he will be cremated at a later date.

Services are under the direction of Dr. Joseph Conde and staff at Serenity Funeral Chapels located at 1401 E Santa Rosa Ave, Edcouch, Texas 78538.
